2nd Annual Festival of Trees

November 18th, 2009 :

Volunteers are needed Dec 4, 5, &6th  for the 2nd Annual Festival of Trees! Sign up today by contacting Deb Collins at dbcollins@plymouth.edu. Can’t help, then pick a theme and think about donating a tree!! Get together with your friends, co-workers, students or department and have fun decorating a tree for the event!!

The Festival of Trees supports the Operating Staff Endowed Scholarship.

The Festival will be held December 4 & 5 and is sponsored by the PSU Operating Staff in conjunction with Plymouth’s Hometown Holiday Celebration.  Departments, businesses, groups, organizations, families, etc. donate fully decorated artificial trees to be raffled off.  (Choosing a theme is a great way to begin the decorating process.) Visitors of the Festival purchase 20 raffle tickets for $5.  As they view the trees, they deposit a ticket (or more if they really like it) in the container in front of the trees they would like to take a chance on.  At the end of the Festival, winners will be drawn and contacted for tree pick-up. For more information, contact Brenda Clayton, or call x52847.
